How do I fix problems caused by 4/14/06 update?

After Microsoft's update on 4/14/06, I can't attach files to Office 2000
Outlook messages and I can't open files using Picture It! Photo Premium
version 9.

down to Item No. 383 "Hewlett-Packard's Share-to-Web software - Fix (MS06-015)"
to download a simple registry fix.

Note: You may need to temporarily disable your antivirus program
in order to safely run the scripted fix.
