How do I fix the color in a chart or graph?

Some cases (not all) I import an excel graph and some of the parts of the
graph or chart that should be a certain color, are blackened out! I do not
know if this has something to do with the way the graph/charts are being
saved or imported as, but hopefully there is a way to correct this and change
the color back to the way it is supposed to be after being inserted in
PowerPoint.
