How do I get a shared calendar to stay up on my screen?

Every time I have my calendar as well as a shared one up it automatically
closes the shared one down when I go out of calendar and into inbox or any of
the other parts of outlook. I need to use one particular shared calendar all
the time and want it to be there every time I go into calendar
