How do I get attachments to show in an e-mail message that I print

Select the email you want to print, click File > Print, then to print
attachments, select the Print attached files check box.
A note from MS Office Outlook help: Attachments will print only to the
default printer. For example, if you have printer A set as the default, and
you open a message with an attachment and choose to print the e-mail to
printer B, the message will be sent to printer B, but the attachment will go
to printer A.

I don't actually want to print the attachment though, I just want the
attachment to show, as an indicator, on the e-mail print-out that it was
included with the message when I sent it.

I too am interested in this issue. In Outlook 2000 we were able to print
emails that showed icons of the attachments. I can't figure out how to print
similar emails in Outlook 2003. Input/instructions would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Before printing, change the format of the message to plain text and your
attachment names will print out.

Open the message, then click Format>Plain Text, then File>Print. Your
attachment names should print.

When I open the email, my formatting options are grayed out. What am I doing
wrong, Obi-wan?

OK, tried that, got the message changed to plain text, but it still printed
my attachment. I want the email message printed with an icon just showing the
attachment, not the attachment itself. Is this a feature Microsoft changed
from 2000 to 2003?
