You're asking in the wrong place. This newsgroup has to do with
designing Microsoft Access databases, not anything to do with clip
art.

Please find a more appropriate place - perhaps the source of the
unsatisfactory clip art.

Hi

If you are talking about clips that can be used as icons on an access DB
(for buttons etc) then MS clips are WMF files and are not really meant to
enlarge. But of course you "can" if you really want to (can't see why though
as your form may end up looking v strange).

If you want then you can always re-sample the clip using Correl, Adobe, etc

Note. MS Clips are issued at 72 DPI as this is the standard screen
resolution for most access DB's. If (as an example) you used the Union Jack
(UK Flag which will be seen on the world cup in 4 year’s time) which on
download is 118mm by 60mm, if used as a button (or anything else on a form /
reports / etc) then your button would take up 170kb of disk space “but†if
you simply doubled it's size to 360mm x 120mm then the new clip would be
682kb (don't forget that when you re-sample you are NOT simply adding width
and depth but also content). As you can see just adding a few large icons
will bloat your DB to a very large size very quickly so it's not really a
good idea.

Hope this helps but I would advise against increasing the size of icons or
any other clip art in an Access DB.
