How do I get colors for borders inn text boxes

Hello, I need to know if anyone has had problem with changing colours of text
box borders using Word 2003. I am running Windows XP Pro and usinng Office
2003 on an Acer TravelMate 8100. The program does not allow me to change the
colour of text box borders or add any colours to it.

When I go to my 2nd laptop using XP Home and Office 2003 I had no roblem
until I transferred the file to original machine at which point all my
formatting disapeared. Anyone have an idea why this should happen or how to
correct for it?

Can you be more specific about the problem on the Acer?

Are you saying you can create text boxes, enter text & be able to view the
text on that system, but can't change their Fill or Border color? Those you
can see on the other system - do you see the text in the text boxes when you
open those files on the Acer?

When you movethe files from one computer to the other are you copying them
to the respective hard drives or working from a removable disk/flash drive?
