How do I get copyrights from Microsoft to use their clip art

I would like to use one of the clip art pictures for the cover of a book I am
pubishings. How do I get permission from Microsoft and no violate copywright
laws?

Microsoft uses providers. On the clipart page there is a list of providers on
the left. A provider such as IStockphotos charge a modest price for individual
images.
