how do i get e-mail to work in excel and word

I have office home and student and I can't e-mail any documents. In word the
e-mail icon is not highlited and in excel, there is no ption.
Can anyone help?

I don't think it works with "web-mail" either.

Mine works with Outlook express on my desktop but will not work with my
laptop, bother running XP and Office 2007.

I have the same problem the 2007 version and I am using windows vista on my
laptop with windows mail and it is driving me crazy. Can anyone offer a
suggestion?

Hi Jerry,

Outlook Express in Windows XP will work with Word 2007, but you may be missing some registry settings. See method 2 of
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/918792?FR=1

Windows mail in Windows Vista should be able to send email as attachments from Word but appears not to be setup to handle
in-document mail, if I recall correctly.
