How do I get messages I am sending to stay in my outbox first bef.

Previously, my sent messages would go to my outbox first before being sent.
Now that I reinstalled outlook 2000 in the corporate version that no longer
happens. Can I reconfigure it to do that?

Are you connecting to an Exchange server?
If not, you can control your send/receive settings - I don't have OL2000
handy, but check in your tools | options menu.

if you are using the corp version and don't want to send immediately,
disable the use of LAN in connection settings for the account.

An item is in the Outbox only long enough to get transferred to the mail
router. If this happens quickly, you may not see an item appear in the
Outbox.

if outlook is set to send every xx minutes, the messages will be held in the
outbox until the next scheduled send time. If Outlook is configured for send
immediately, you may not see them in the outbox at all.
