How do I get music to play in my slideshow

I am creating a powerpoint presentation and I want to insert a 25 second WAV
file sound clip into one of the slides but when I follow the "Insert etc..."
steps it isn't playing the song. Can someone please guide me to let me know
what i'm doing wrong?
