How do I get my Outlook cursor to stay in the view as I'm typing?

as I'm typing an email message or reply and get to the end of the message
window, the cursor goes out of sight ahead in the messge and my view is
returned to the beginning of my message ... I can continue to type. but I'm
unable to see what I'm typing
