I haven't used my microsoft outlook e-mail in a while and it will not open.
How can I update it or get it to allow me to use it again?

You may want to ask this in an Outlook newsgroup. This newsgroup is devoted
to Microsoft Access databases. You are much more likely to find an answer in
a group devoted to your subject.
