How do I get Office 2003 to install properly

I am running Windows Home XP and have Office 2003 installed.

I have downloaded the Office 2003 SP1 but it will not install.

Can anyone provide assistance?

Do you already have it installed? Go to Help > About Microsoft Office
PowerPoint and see whether the first line ends with SP 1.

What happens when you attempt to run the installer? Do you get a message? If
so, what is the exact message?
