How do I get Office 2007 Outlook to stay open?

I have installed Outlook 2007 beta (No business contact manager). It comes up
for a minimal amount of time and then disappears from the screen. I have
eliminated office 2003 from the disk. I use XP with Svc Pack 2. I am using
Adobe Acrobat attachment. I am using Norton Antispam. I also use the print
to Fedex attachment. I have repaired the installation once. I have rebuilt
my profile and eliminated all other profiles. There are no messages or error
msgs to report on.

I've found that sometimes when this happens it means that there is more than
one copy of outlook.exe running. Open task manager, kill any existing
instances of outlook.exe and then run Ooutlook again.

Thank you for the rapid response. I have tried your suggestion and received
no positive response. I monitored with task manager running. Outlook started
with just one instance and then faded out. For anyone else who views this. I
have run the Office diagnostics and it indicated it fixed a file at least it
might have said this, but I ran again and nothing changed. Thanks Mr. ds for
your help.

Disable the Acrobat Outlook/Word plug-in. A known issue.

Thank you for a solution, yet one problems seems to exist. Where do I find
the procedures for this solution. in acrobat or in some other area of this
site? I would like to try this out.
