How do I get Office to recognise Windows Live Mail when sending?

Tried to send a document from a recently installed MS Office 2007 Package.

The document originated from another source and I was returning it after
modifying it. It was created with Word 97-2003

Returns error - relating to MS Exchange??

Documents I created work fine.
