How do I get Outlook to auto close archive folders

For the life of me I can't remember how to do this. My computer is set up
to archive every 2 weeks. When it archives it shows an archive folder in
the folder list temporarily and then it goes away. I remember there is a
setting to tell it to do this...but can't remember where it is now. Several
of my coworkers want to follow suit. Using Outlook 2003.

Thanks

So what you're saying is that the Archive file is still showing after the
Archive process ends, and you want it not to -- right? (Just making sure I
understood you correctly...)

Go to Tools | Options | Other | AutoArchive, and the 5th checkbox from the
top says "Show archive folder in folder list". If you clear that box, the
Archive file should disappear from the Folder List after the Archive process
ends (as long as the Archive file wasn't already open before the Archive
started...in that case I'm not sure if it would close or not).

Nah, not a "duh" offense :) It's a little obscure IMO.
