How do I get outlook to download when I log on

When I go into outlook my messages do not download. I need to click on
send/recieve for this to happen. How do I get it to download without needing
to click on send

You need to set up a polling interval to do a Send/Receive every ___
minutes. Since you didn't say what version of Outlook you're using, I can't
be more specific.

I Have the same problem with Outlook 2003 on WinXP.

In Outlook 2003, Tools menu > Options > Mail Setup tab > Send/Receive button
Checkmark in front of "Schedule an automatic Send/Receive every ___

minutes" (make it at least 10 minutes, as a minimum).
