How do I get Outlook2003 to stop removing images(Outlook consider.

D

Dan

Whenever I paste a small screenshot or other image from the clipboard into an
e-mail and send it, I receive a message telling me that the sent e-mail
contained
a virus or other unsafe content and that it has removed said content. I
think that the recipiants of the e-mails are able to see them, but when I try
to view the sent
e-mail in the 'sent items' section of Outlook all the text is there minus
the images.
What can I do to prevent this? I'd appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Dan

where are you copying the image from? when you paste from a webpage, you may
pick up some script or insert it as a link (using scr tag).

Thanks Diane,
Although you didn't answer my question totally(you don't know all the
variables),
you rang my bell. You're good.
You see, I use a clipboard extender called Clipmate v6.3 to cutn'paste
images and to capture small screenshots. Lately, I've been receiving
'just-in-time script debugger' pop-up windows while reviewing clips in my
inventory. These windows include the application for debugging the problem
script, which I know nothing about and don't expect you to give me a lesson
on.
One follow-up question if you've got the time: Even though I'm copying
what I would consider 'clean' images and content,i.e. screenshots of open
applications on my desktop and clipart from Mic.Clip Organizer, can Clipmate
transfer a possible
internal script problem that it's having into my e-mails?
Thanks again,
Dan

I'm not familiar enough with that utility to know if the script errors can
be copied, only that I've run into similar errors when pasting content from
html pages...
