How do I get replacement installation discs that will work with m.

My hard disc crashed and I tried to install Office2000 PRO but my CD was
scratched. My office sent me a new set of CD's but the new CD's won't accept
my CD Key as official.
If I supply my CD-Key to Microsoft - will they send me a new set of CD's?
Who do I call?

Posts in this group state that Microsoft no longer has replacement CDs for
Office 2000.

I would call your office, as the source of the CDs, for the installation
key.

If the scratch on your current CDs is not too bad, there are inexpensive
products available to repair and polish the plastic protective surface.

Microsoft no longer has replacement disks for Office 97 or 2000.

Your Key should work with another Office CD Set, but the versions must be
identical. IOW an Office Std. CD will not work with an Office Pro Key, OEM
won't work with Retail, and so forth. Try to obtain the same version CDs as
your original and it will work fine. Make sure you enter it correctly as some
of the letters and digits are easy to confuse.
