How do i get rid of links i did not create?

If you are using Excel 2003, then on the Link window there
is a button labelled "Break Link" that will get rid of it.
Be sure you want to get rid of it! It works!

shows a bunch of old files I am supposedly linked to,
although the links are not in my workbook anywhere. When i
open the file, it asks if i want to update or not. How can
i get rid of this?
