How do I get rid of the box showing 'fill down' options after I fill
down....and I mean permanently...so I never have to see it again?

On the Tools menu, click Options.
On the Edit tab, clear the Show Paste Options buttons check box to never
again see the Show Paste Options button on the worksheet. (Unless you go
back and check it again, of course!)
