How do I get rid of the Elements toolbar (if that's what it'scalled)?

I have absolutely no use for the toolbar in Office 2008 (in Word, Excel and
Powerpoint) that has buttons (in Word) for Document Elements, Quick Tables,
Charts, SmartArt Graphics and WordArt. I have looked all over for a method
of removing it, but no luck. Any advice?

System info: 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 20" iMac running OS 10.5.2 with 2 GB
of RAM

There is no way to do this. Use Help/Send Feedback to let MS know you
want to be able to hide the bar.
