How do I get rid of white space next to a pic in a document

after adding a pic in a work doc how do you get rid of the white space next
to the pic so you can have text there?

Right-click the pic and select Text Wrapping. Choose one of the options
other than In Line and experiment to see which suits your layout and needs.
