how do i get the music to work in the slide show presentation it .

i am working in power point 2003. i am doing a wedding for a friend. i
scanned the pictures over into power point but i cant get the music to the
slid show. the little speaker works in edit but when i click the slide show
it stops. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
