How do I get updates for XP or Office using Firefox browser?

I have switched browsers (from IE to Firefox).When I go to the Windows Update
page (looking for XP updates, patches etc) or to the Office update page, I am
told that I must be running IE to get updates..or that I could go to the MS
Downloads page.....is there some type of Firefox extention, plugin etc that
will permit me to look for & d/load updates to Win XP (SP2) and MS Office
2003 ??

Downlaod and install the Firefox extension IE Tab. This uses IE from within
Firefox. Set IE Tab to use IE at all MS sites.
