How do i get voice recognition to work in word?

I've just started using the speech capability in office, i've created and
trained a profile and now i would like to use in word or any software
possible, but i do not know how to turn it on, and can not find any help any
where else.

thank you I'm using voice recognition to do this reply, i think i need to do
a couple more lessons yet though, once again thank you. Is there any way of
putting my own words in or not?

I have installed and trained speech recognition, but I can't use it because
the language bar doesn't appear whenever I click "speech". I've noticed that
when I click "speech", sometimes a button with a question mark on it appears
at the top of the screen, but it dissappears before I can get my mouse to it.
I have been trying to use speech recognition for word documents. Can
someone help me get my language bar to appear?

I have found out where the language bar is and I am using it to write this
message. However I am still unable to use it in word and I'm not sure what's
wrong with. This is the first time it's worked since I found out about it
and I'm not sure if it would work and work now. I'm wondering if you can
help me for a post another message if it does work in word?

Thanks, but I just found out how to use the speech recognition in word. It
just started working somehow. If I have problems I will check this again
now.

I have a similar problem, in that when I open a blank MS WORD page and try
to dictate, the words go into a 'alternative' panle, rather than on the
pageitself.
I can dictate in Wordpad and then trabsfer to WORD, but it is a clumsy
business. Anyone any idea how to get straight i to WORdDby voice?
