how do i get word 2003 while using microsoft works?

I bought a computer with office home edition installed and it has microsoft
works (instead of proper word an excel) which work fine on this computer but
if i try to attach to email and send no one can open it because just a few
people use those works. I would even consider reinstalling microsoft word and
chenging it into word 2003 but not sure if its possible.. and its way too
expensive.. please help!

But even Works Suite only has Word 2002. Not that I've seen a lot of
difference but...

the thing is that i would consider installing word 2003 but im not sure if
it's possible while having home edition and on top of that install word 2003?

Home edition of what? Windows XP?
Word 2003 will install just fine on that.

yes, home edition of windows xp. so could someone tell me where could i get
only word2003 without all the office thing. as cheap as possible..
