Well, since you didn't mention that [it's been working fine for 6 months] in
your original message, I was tossing out ideas.
"Will not let me type" covers a lot of ground. Without a clear set of
details to work from, we're pretty much left with guesswork. Remember, we
can't see what you're doing there or what's happening on your end -- you
have to be our eyes. In this case, we're pretty much flying blind.
Based on this additional information, you're right, it doesn't sound as if
activation is the issue.
