How do I get Word to open files with the same menu bars each time.

It seem like every time I open a Word document the menu bars come up
different. I think there is a difference whether I open from Outlook or just
the file. I also have the little menu bar for Acrobat pop up ina nearly blank
menu bar. I drag it up to a less imposing location, but it pops up later in
the same place.

The problem is with using Word as an Outlook editor as Outlook forces Word
to use a different set of toolbars which can screw up your preferred
arrangement. This is exacerbated by the use of add-ins which impose their
own demands often rather unsubtly. Use Outlook's own editor (which is quite
adequate for e-mail messages) and the problem will go away.

As for Acrobat's toolbar - see
