how do i give each sentence it's own alignment on the same page?

I'm trying to give different sentences different alignments on the same page.
like for examle, i want to align the article's title to "Center" and the
article itself, just below it, to "Align Left" but when i try to align the
article to the left, the title AND the article changes along with everything
else. this never happened to me with Word 2002 but with 2003, it just won't
work. Please help!

Thanks, i appreciate your help, but its seems that the two links lead to dead
sites... not sure why... but if you could explain it to me yourself that
