how do i go about unregistering an office suit

i currently use office works suit 2005, but want unregister it so i can give
it to my partner for his laptop, as i will be using microsoft office 2003, is
this possible and how do i go about it. Any help would be very grateful

No "un-registering" to be done. If the version is transferable, the
requirements are outlined in the EULA. Otherwise you could ask the folk
in the Works group, as this is for the MSOffice suite applications

I can't help but laugh. It's an Office *suite*, not suit. Unless your
partner's laptop wears clothing.

If your installation of Works Suite came pre-installed then the
license is not-transferable since it is licensed only to the computer
in which it was installed.

IOW, you won't be able to give it to your partner - it will need to
remain installed on your computer. Also note, if you are using Office
2003 then most of the files you create can not be easily opened in
Works Suite. If you plan on sharing files then you should both be
using the same applications.
