How do I have an animated truck drag in a bullet point?

I am trying to create a powerpoint presentation whare the bullet points are
dragged or pushed onto the presentation by a truck, buldozer, etc. How do I
set this up so an animated picture of a truck (I have some) can be at the
beginning or end of the entryof the bullet?

1) Make a text box
2) Insert text
3) Make text a single bullet point
4) Move the text box off the slide to the left
5) Go to custom animation
6) Go to Add : Motion Paths: Draw custom path: Line
7) Draw the path to where you want the text box / bullet to stop
8) Insert your "Truck" and repeat the process
9) Make sure that you set the animation of the "truck" to Start with Previous
10) Repeat the entire process for all your bullet points.
Hope this helps!!!
That ought to do the trick

Once you create the first one can't you just copy/paste it for additional
copies?

This works fine.

However, it is a little difficult to get the bullets to line up unless the
come from the right. Also I am trying to get the truck to kkep going offthe
page and leave the text on the page. So far the best I can do is have a line
attached to the back of the truck to the text long enough to get the truck
off the page but the line is still there.

Once I saw a presentation where the bullets were hidden by grass and a lawn
mower would go across the page cutting the grass away so you could see the
text.
I haven't a clue on that one either.

thanks fior the help

I like your approach, but I think that you will then have the truck on the
screen together with the text box.
Can you upgrade your suggestion to have the text box remain on the screen
but the truck disappears after
it finishes "pushing" the text box out?

Many thanks in advance. I.L.
