How do I have Outlook sort my email contacts by last name?

I am using Microsoft XP Professional, Office 2003. My outlook contacts are
sorted by last nam first. But when I hit th "To" button on an email, I get a
window where the contacts are sorted by the first name. I thought this could
be changed in Office 2003, but I can't seem to do it. Help anyone.

Go to Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or
address books > Outlook Address Book > Change. > Set your sort order there
