How do I hook a writing pad up to the language bar?

I just recently installed office Xp on my pc. I noticed that there is a
language bar. I have a electronic pad with a stylus hooked into my usb port.
I was wondering if the two could be linked together so I could write on my
pad and not with my mouse????
