How do I imbed a sound file in a Powerpoint show .pps to email it, so that
the recipient can open the file and the sound will play?

Very carefully I'd say.

Seriously, you have posted to a newsgroup that deals with MS Project, (a
planning/scheduling application), developer issues. You will have much
better luck if you post to a newsgroup that deals with PowerPoint.
