How do I import a hyperlink from Access into the Appointment form

Help: Outlook calendar will not import a hyperlink into the Appointment form
body.

I want to use Outlook calendar to help manage scheduling of events up to a
year in advance. Scheduled events (appointments) are logged in an Access
database.

I was able to export much of this information from Access into the Outlook
Calendar by matching the database fields with the Outlook fields. Although I
can pass text entries from the database to the Outlook Calendar Appointment
Form body, I cannot pass a hyperlink.

Here is what the Appointment body entry looks like after importing:
Misc Massive.doc#Misc%20Massive.doc#

Of course, the name of the document is Misc Massive.doc, but instead of a
hyperlink, it tacks on #Misc%20Massive.doc#.

I want the hyperlinks to allow the users (i.e. managers) viewing the
calendar event to pull up documents associated with the event.

Are you aware of this problem and can you tell me how to fix it?
