How do I import large Accesss databases into Project?

Project 2003 encounters an error when importing data from an Access 2003
database. Maps have been created to import the information correctly and the
process works with a small amount of data but with a larger database Project
ends without importing. Is there some sort of limit to the amount of data
project can import and if so can it be increased?
