how do i import mail from entourage x to entourage 2008

i've archived my entourage mail from my old computer/entourage X. trying to import to my new intel computer/entourage 2008, but the program isn't recognizing the mbox archive. can anyone help?

When you selected to import did you follow this path?

1) File --> Import
2) Contacts or messages from a text file
3) Import messages from an MBOX-format text file

Is there an extension after the file .MBOX? What do you see under Get Info?

I am quite unable to do this import, [except via Apple Mail, but then I don't get the drafts nor all the sent mail.] A basic fault surely?

Do you still have your Entourage X Identity? How did you create the MBOX
files?
