How do I import .wab files (telephone book) into MS Outlook?

Trying to import .wab files from Address Book 6.xx. in MS XP Home SP2 into MS
Outlook 2K... now I find that Address Book has gone blank.

You'll need to provide a lot more information than that.
Outlook does not use and cannot import a WAB file. Only Outlook Express
does. You would have to import a WAB file into Outlook Express. From there,
you can import into Outlook.
