How do I include an attachment in an Outlook reply

Ok, I receive an email in Outlook that has an Excel file attached. I open
the Excel file and make some changes and then save and close Excel. Then I
click Reply to the email so that I can reply back to the sender, WITH the
changes made to the Excel file. I cannot find a way to have the attachment,
by default, included in the reply message. Is there a way to do this???

No. The assumption is, that the person you are replying to already has the
file! You will have to do a "Save As" and then re-attach the amended file.

Not good. If this is a working doc then the person I'm replying to wants my
changes. Currently, I have to save the attachment, then turn around and
re-attach it.(((((

And why would you not want to save the attachment before editing it?
Outlook is not a file system and shouldn't be used as one. Once you've
editied the attachment, it's not the same document any more. If you want a
safe backup you should save it first. Attachments that you open from with
the message and save back to the message are kept in TEMPORARY storage and
can be deleted at any time.
