How do I include aPDF File in my Front Page Web so that visitors can downoad it?

I need to include a large PDF File (a catalogue) in my
front Page Web so that visitors can "click" on it and
download the PDF File. I have added an Icon of the
catalogue to the home page but can't find any help or
instructions on how to make this happen?
Any advice ratefully recieved, Thanks

I have had no problem by just setting a hyperlink to the pdf file, when a
webuser clicks on the hyperlink IE offers the standard open or download
choices.
