How do i input data once i've created a form in Access?

Help! I'm new at access, and have just finished creating a form in design
view but now can't work out how to begin entering my data as the 'new record'
button isn't highlighted. Any suggestions why? Thanks

Did you create a table into which the data will be saved after you
enter it into the form?

Create a table.
Make the table (or a query based upon the table) the record source for
the form.

I too am fairly new at Access and I too designed a form (with the wizard) and
when I open it in form view, no fields or their labels are visible. My
answer to your questions is yes. I either double click it or open from the
menu bar.
