how do i insert a file shortcut in e-mail

File resides on a server that multiple users have access to. I don't want to
send the attachment itself. We used to be able to do this, now I can't
figure out how...

Hi,

In order to send a link that points to specific documents on a server, use the following format.

Type the link in this format, \\servername\share name\document.doc

Then highlight it, right-right click on it and choose Hyperlink.

That works only in WordMail, of course. The regular Outlook editor has no
Hyperlink command.
