how do i insert a tick in a cell is there a keyboard
shourtcut or can i bind a key combination to it??? how do
i do it???

Put the formula =char(252) into the cell and format the
cell font to wingdings, or =char(80) and format font
wingdings 2.

Hi Steven,

It all depends on what you mean by easier. Try this.

If you have the Marlett font available, format the cell(s)
with this font. Now, if you type in a lowercase 'a'
without the quotes, you get a tick.
