How do I insert a Word file attachment into a PP Presentation

I am trying to insert a Word file attachment into a PP Presentation. Not the
actual document, but the attachment that will open the document.

Put the Word file in the same folder as your PowerPoint file. Create a
hyperlink to the other document. You can do that by selecting an object or
some text and choosing Hyperlink from the Insert menu or chosing Action
Settings from the Slide Show menu.
