How do I insert Adobe page into WORD so the page is viewed, not ic

I want to view (and print) an entire PDF page in word without using a link
and without using just a screen print. However, INSERT only gives me an icon
& link. I am using an Adobe 4 PDF file and MS Office 2000.

And there are third-party products around that convert PDFs to
graphics.

One of those is our commercial pdf2vector software, which batch
converts PDF files to Windows Metafiles - preserving graphics, images
and text in WYSIWYG layout. You can import WMF and EMF files into Word
via Insert... Picture...From File...

I think the OP would probably prefer one that actually works.

It does work, for many customers around the world, for PDF files
ranging from tax forms to CAD drawings to marketing material. There may
be complications that require trade-offs (for example, the option to
outline non-standard fonts to vector paths to ensure WYSIWYG
rendering), but in many cases, it's a good solution that beats e.g.
screenshots in terms of quality and usability.

Both you and the OP are welcome to contact me for a representative test
(trial installation and sample file). If you've evaluated the software
and didn't get good results (which you seem to imply), chances are that
changing one or two filter settings could've perfected the output.

You need upgrading Adobe Acrobat to version 7 Pro. This version let you "SAVE
AS" a JPG picture format with the selection of resolution (version 6 Pro does
not) and convert each PDF page into one JPG file. Then "Insert - Picture -
From file" into Word. Keep in mind that JPG picture format is more than 10
times larger than PDF format!

Good Luck
