How do I insert an arrow over a letter?

I need to insert an arrow over (on top of) a letter. I tried to draw it in,
but it does not look goo. Any other suggestions?

characters, look in the Wingdings 3 font (or look in the "Combining
Diacritics (Symbols)" character subset of Arial Unicode MS).
