I would like to print musical notes (in 5 lines) using word

Word is not a compositional tool. May I recommend you avail yourself of a
proper notational tool? I use NoteWorthy Composer, a free trial (limited
saving and printing) can be downloaded from www.noteworthysoftware.com.
There is also a free viewer which your recipients can download to view and
print your compositions.

If you're wishing to produce a printed album, then it will export in EPS
format which can be imported into Word for printing.

Thanks !
I will try that the tool. But if I want to just print the the notations for
showing them on paper, is there a symbol/font in word that I can use ?

If you read my post properly you'd have seen that was exactly what I was
telling you. You are still wishing to compose and a word processor is not
the correct tool to be using (well, I assume you wish to write a tune and
print it out, right?) The Noteworthy font is the only one I am aware of and
is copyright NoteWorthy Software Inc and I am not about to send it to just
anyone. Download the software, install it, write what you want (it's pretty
easy to use) and then convert it to EPS. Paste the results into Word.

Having said that, Publisher would be a better application if you have it. I
have made many song books converting from NoteWorthy to EPS and then pasting
in Publisher. The results have been very professional.

Leave Word for what it was designed for (*WORD* processing) and purchase a
notational application for music. Notworthy's only $39 to register (it's
only risen $3 in 10 years). You'd be supporting a family business.

I certainly would buy the $39 software but only after I know how to use it.
Currently I am in a stage where I just want to hang the notations on the wall
or paste it on my piano keys to identify which is 'C', which is 'G' etc. Hope
you got me right this time Noteworthy fan !
