how do I insert names into already printed cards..in right spot

I had pre-printed membership cards, spots for the members names are blank, it
loks so much better if I print the names on my computer. I can't figure out
how to get this right....I know it's an easy question, but my brain is
frozen! Help please!!

Describe the size and number of cards per sheet. Depending on your printer
and cards you may not be able to feed the card sheets.

For my run of up to 12 three-up cards at a time, I use MS Word and the mail
merge function. I apply the name, date issued, expiration date and if needed
SSN to the cards I issue. The name/SSN is stored in a Word table that I
create each run from a signup sheet but you can use an Access or Excel
database also. The dates are non-variables that I type into text boxes
placed on the form. You have to experiment with placement and the merge
function but it works well.
