I'm trying to insert songs in a PowerPoint. Unfortunately, they are

If they are protected by Digital Rights Management they cannot be used in
PowerPoint. Tell us more and there might be a work around. Kinda depends on
where they came from and what kind of protection has been applied.

You probably can't remove the protection since I believe they are protected by
DRM.
